The Royal Ballet Yearbook 2010/11

The Royal Ballet Yearbook 2010/11 is out now.  It’s a look back at the previous year and a look towards the up-coming rep, with plenty of images along the way.

Johan Persson’s photograph of Leanne Cope on page 41 is worth the purchase price alone.  Lovely to see her getting the credit she deserves.

I love your site. If I am not careful I can spend too much time on it when a new post come up.

I’d just like to ask, have you heard that there is a new ballet company in Nashville? Dance Theatre of Tennessee

The artistic director, Mr. Christopher Monani was a principal with the Nashville Ballet for many years.
Their web site will give you more information. Although new and starting small, they are a very talented group of dancers that will bring something new and fresh to the dance world.

    Thank you, Paula Drake

Dave – NEVER buy things from there until you’ve checked around – they are very expensive

Paula – no, I didn’t. I rely on press departments getting in touch with me so please do ask the director to put his press people in touch with me.
